National Night Out is August 2, Deadline to Register a Neighborhood Event is Friday, July 22

National Night Out is an annual crime prevention event to promote community policing and help bring neighborhoods together.

It’s sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch with the Santa Clara Police Department as the local co-sponsor.

National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 2. The deadline to register for an event is this Friday, July 22.

Many Mission City neighorbors will gather in the local parks and have a pot luck. Groups can gather in neighborhoods too, but The City is not currently accepting applications for a Neighborhood Block Party.
