There’s a special Santa Clara City Council meeting today at 3 p.m. 

The only topics of the closed session meeting are the City Manager and City Attorney positions. 

Earlier in the week, the Council gave interim City Manager Rajeev Batra special executive power to execute agreements without Council action during the Winter recess.

Batra has been serving as Interim City Manager for nearly six months. Steve Ngo of Lozano Smith Law Firm has been acting City Attorney for several months.

There is no agenda information available because it’s personnel matter handled in closed session. 

The next regularly scheduled meeting is January 10.
