The Good Salad is the latest Santa Clara restaurant to be recognized by Yelp as one of the top restaurants in the nation.
Yelp recently released its list of the top 100 restaurants across the nation “with an accent on delicious food at fair prices in comfortable settings.”
The Good Salad garners extraordinary reviews and boasts a loyal Silicon Valley following. Entrepreneur Sanad Al Souz was formerly a tech engineer.

All proteins, including a popular marinated Halal Cajun Chicken Breast, are prepared in-house. Each of the eight dressings are crafted on-site as well. Customers may build a salad from scratch or customize one of six signature offerings. Among the most celebrated is the “Blazing Bird,” praised by Yelpers as “to die for.”
Over 40 mix-ins are available, ranging from Medjool dates to edamame and crispy fried onions. “The possibilities are virtually limitless,” says Al Souz. This new Santa Clara destination delivers quick, health-focused meals without compromising on flavor.
In past years, Yelp has recognized other Mission City establishments as top’s in the nation in other categories: Ramen Hajime (ramen), Achilles Restaurant (must try), and Stan’s Donuts (donuts), of course.
Thank you for sharing! I had no idea this restaurant was in my new Trustee district. Will be sure to share the information. Everyone loves a new restaurant especially a healthy one. People love salads!
