Santa Clara Councilmember Kevin Park’s Bio Suggests He Can Pay His Property Taxes

By Robert Haugh

Kevin Park held an origami class at the Triton Museum this past weekend.  Yup, no kidding.

That alone would be noteworthy.

But the Triton Museum’s description of him is even more fascinating. Park’s bio calls him a “scientist and engineer with over 30 years of experience,” boasting degrees from Caltech and Stanford.

They say he’s designed Unix servers and worked at Google.  This line was interesting:

“Kevin has also worked in a number of AI companies, most recently serving as the Head of Engineering at a startup specializing in the productionization of machine learning models.”

“Most recently” doesn’t mean in the last year or two.

As Santa Clara News Online reported, Park’s 2024 Form 700 shows zero income and zero assets.

The only money mentioned is a $1,420 gift from the Overseas Korean Foundation.

Also, Park is behind on property taxes and facing late fees.

Park’s Triton Museum bio says origami helps him “see through the eyes of others.”

The question is: can anyone see how his finances add up? Perhaps that’s an unfolding mystery.

  1. Dear Community,

If your City Government does not answer, you need to use the Court to make them.

It called a “Writ of Mandamus”.

It gets you into Court RIGHT AWAY.

It was used many times by a great friend and very effective.

    Look into the Process.

It is to get the Community HELP AGAINST GOVERNMENT WHEN RULES AND ACTIONS NEED TO BE IMMEDIATELY ENFORCED.

    Good Luck

  2. I live in Park’s district. I wrote to him and the City Manager, several times, regarding an issue in my neighborhood. I never heard back from either one of them. Nothing. Not impressed with both Park and the City Manager. Plus I saw how Park mocked public speakers he apparently doesn’t like at City Council meetings.

  3. Like convicted Political Felon Tony Becker, Park appears to be another indigent bought and paid for by the 49rs.
