A month after a domestic disturbance call to the home of Santa Clara City Councilmember Kevin Park, the Santa Clara Police Department (SCPD) provided a brief statement to Santa Clara News Online (SCNO).
The department confirmed the investigation is complete and that no arrests were made.
The one-sentence response was to a SCNO request for information. It offered no additional details — no names, no summary of events, and no explanation for why the incident was withheld from public view for weeks.

SCNO first requested the report in June but was told the matter was “under investigation.” Local legal experts say that’s not standard for incidents involving public officials when no arrests are made.
Yesterday, SCNO requested additional details that are legally available to the public. The SCPD response is due within 10 days from the date of the request.
This is at least the third domestic violence call to Park’s residence since 2017. It’s the second time SCPD has drawn scrutiny for how it handled records related to Park.
SCNO will continue to report on this developing story.

Has anyone called for a wellness check at park’s house? See if his family are okay? Seems quite warranted.
why was he not arrested the first time? The second time? The third time?
Police are suppose to arrest. Complainant doesn’t have to press charges. Arrest is automatic for domestic violence.
