This site was founded by Robert Haugh, a Silicon Valley journalist who has covered an array of topics in an around Santa Clara and the Silicon Valley for over 20 years. This site follows a thorough set of standards and ethics set forth by the Society of Professional Journalists.

Haugh founded and operates Wrestling for Charity, a family-centric professional wrestling company that has hosted a plethora of events over the last two decades in and around the Greater Bay Area.

To honor Haugh’s admiration for the men and women of professional wrestling, Santa Clara News Online periodically gives out the Leg Drop Award for admirable accomplishments and the Jabroni Award for idiotic actions and statements.

Carter Fulhorst is an enterprising journalist and tech-marketing specialist, focused on how developing business trends create need for expansion of security software capabilities. He currently works with the City of Santa Clara where he grew up, and in addition to working with the citizens of Santa Clara on a daily basis, hopes to reinvigorate the historic downtown and re-establish a city community.

  1. I stopped reading the Santa Clara Weekly. I enjoy this website much more because I get the local news daily and the writing is better and sometimes even funny. It reminds how bad the writing was in the Weekly. The Milestones column used to put me to sleep. I’m glad you’re covering local politics and pointing out the ridiculous stuff that gets printed in the Weekly. Keep up the good work.
